I've been reading tarot for over a decade — not as a psychic service, but as a way of thinking about situations clearly. I started African Daisy Tarot because most tarot content online either drowns in mystical language or copies the same generic definitions from site to site. I wanted something different: card meanings grounded in what you can actually see in the artwork, interpretations that connect to real life, and honest advice even when the cards say something uncomfortable.
Every article on this site is written from the perspective of someone who has physically held these cards, studied Pamela Colman Smith's illustrations in detail, and sat across from real people trying to make real decisions.

Card meanings
All 78 Rider-Waite-Smith cards have their own page covering upright and reversed meanings, love, work, money, feelings, advice, and more. Each card also shows a second interpretation — The Modern Arcana — a contemporary take on the same card in everyday real-world settings. Both sit side by side so you can see the traditional symbolism and a modern reading of it at once.

The home page has a card of the day tool — click to reveal a card drawn at random from the full 78-card Rider-Waite-Smith deck and get a fresh reading. A quick way to check in with the cards without setting up a full spread.
Oracle card guide
Oracle cards work differently from tarot. There's no fixed structure — no suits, no numbered sequence keeping you within boundaries. That freedom is the point. Reading oracle cards is less about definitions and more about feeling: what stirs in you when you see the image, what sensation or emotion comes up before you even think. The oracle guide is about strengthening that — your intuition is a real thing, not a talent some people have and others don't. It's more like a muscle.
