Privacy Policy

African Daisy Tarot is a free tarot reference site. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit and how it's used.

What we collect

Email addresses: If you enter your email to download the printable tarot cheat sheet, your email is stored in a private spreadsheet. We use it only to track downloads. We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, or share your email with anyone. If you want your email removed, contact us through Instagram.

Card readings: When you use the tarot reading tool on the home page, your chosen topic and card are sent to our server to generate a reading using AI (Anthropic's Claude). We do not store your readings, topics, or any personal information from the reading tool.

Server logs: Our hosting provider (Vercel) collects standard server logs — IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for security and performance monitoring only and is not shared or sold.

Cookies and advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your browsing history and interests. This happens automatically when you visit pages with ads.

You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's ad settings or by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.

For more information on how Google uses data when you use sites that use their services, visit Google's privacy policy.

Third-party services

This site uses the following services: Google AdSense (advertising), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI-powered readings), and Google Sheets (email storage for printable downloads). Each has its own privacy policy. We also link to external websites including Wikipedia and Psychology Today — we're not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
